There’s something special about the way shows up for one another—and Miracle Treat Day at the Gray Dairy Queen is a perfect example. 💙🍦

Our Exchange Bank team was proud to volunteer alongside so many others to support this incredible cause benefiting Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital. Seeing our community come together to make a difference is what Community Matters is all about.

Congratulations to Justin Kelly, the Gray Dairy Queen team, and all of Jones County for another successful Miracle Treat Day. Thank you for reminding us what can happen when a community rallies around a great cause. We’re honored to be a small part of it each year!

🎞️ From the Exchange Bank Archives | September 20, 1963

On September 20, 1963, Exchange Bank celebrated the grand opening of its first branch location on the south side of Milledgeville.

More than six decades later, we’re able to revisit that day through original Super 8 footage and audio preserved on a vinyl record—both recently digitized from our archives.

The recording includes remarks from then-Mayor Walter B. Williams Jr., as community leaders, employees and customers gathered to mark an important milestone in Exchange Bank’s history.

So much has changed since 1963, but the story behind this footage feels familiar: a community growing, a local bank growing with it, and people coming together to celebrate what was ahead.

We’re proud to preserve these pieces of our history and share the people, places and moments that helped shape Exchange Bank.

Sometimes, a simple thank-you means more than you know. 💐

This week, Alicea Clemmons received these beautiful flowers from a customer after helping them work through some financial challenges.

For Alicea, who has spent more than 25 years as a personal banker, being there for customers through all seasons of life is what community banking is all about.

“As a personal banker for over 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping people through both exciting and challenging seasons of life. Being able to support this customer during a difficult time was just part of my job, but their thoughtful gesture reminded me why I love what I do,” Alicea shared.

It’s a sweet reminder that banking is personal. Sometimes it means celebrating exciting new chapters, and sometimes it means sitting down together and finding a way forward when things are a little harder.

Thank you, Alicea, for taking such good care of the people we serve — and to the thoughtful customer who sent the flowers, thank you for making her day. ❤️

💙 Caring for our communities starts with our people.

Through the Exchange Bank C.A.R.E. Program, our employees voluntarily contribute through biweekly payroll donations, pooling their contributions to support nonprofit organizations making a difference across the communities we serve.

For 2026, our employees raised more than $8,000 through the program and voted on where those funds could make a meaningful impact. One of the organizations selected was Circle of Love which provides critical support, resources, and a safe place for individuals and families affected by domestic violence.

We are proud to support the important work Circle of Love is doing to help individuals find safety, stability, and hope for the future.

And we are especially proud of the Exchange Bank employees who make gifts like this possible. Every payroll contribution adds up to something much bigger—a chance to make a real difference for our neighbors.

In 1998, Exchange Bank partnered with GCSU Bobcats to create this fun commercial featuring a friendly matchup of Loans vs. Deposits. On the court, you'll find some very familiar faces who helped shape Exchange Bank into the community bank it is today.

What we love most about looking back through our archives isn't seeing how much things have changed—it's being reminded of the people and partnerships that have always made Exchange Bank special. The relationships we've built with our communities and organizations like GCSU have been part of our story for generations.

Many of the people featured in this video dedicated years of service to our customers and communities, laying the foundation for the values that continue to guide us today. Their legacy lives on in every relationship we build and every community we serve.
