My Daughter- “Dad are you still the Boss”

Me: “Yes they made me the boss this year”

Daughter- “Oh weird, I thought you gave that job to someone else”

Me: “I probably should 😂, (Pause)... Do you know what Daddy does for work”

Daughter- “No”

Me: (Crap, How do I explain this best to a 5 year old) “Houses cost a lot of money to buy so Daddy helps take them to the bank to get the money for their house”

Daughter- “Yeah houses do cost a lot, and when you go to the bank you get a sucker”

You can now get your complimentary sucker when you come visit me, instituted by the real boss (aka my daughter).

Last week was an exciting week for me! I became the owner of Integrity First Financial. We are a mortgage broker in Utah and Texas.

My daughter Jane helped Emma decorate my office so when I got home after taking care of all the “official” transferring of ownership I was congratulated. She was so excited to show me!
