Hello everyone,
Due to Covid 19 protocol, Janke Insurance Agency will be closed through 11/3/21. During this time we are asking that all payments or claims be made directly with your insurance company, either by phone or through the insurance companies website. We will be checking voicemail and email daily, so if there is anything else needed, we can handle it by phone or online. Next week there will be limited office hours due to volunteering at the Berrien County Youth Fair. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 4-6 pm.
Wednesday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4pm. I will be checking voice mail and email and working mobile as much as possible from the fair while not in the office.
I also have two free auction day admission (Thursday, Friday) tickets available. First person to claim them gets them.
I hope to see everyone out at the fair supporting the youth of our community.

A helpful reminder about an easy mistake that ca make a stressful time even worse.

Preparing for Storm Season means more than just buying a Generator.

More people die from improper use of a generator after a storm, than from the storms them selves - that includes hurricanes! Keep it 20 or more feet away from the house; point the exhaust away from the house. Don't use without a transfer switch.

FEMA and the Consumer Product Safety Commission have tips to prepare for storms - including safe generator use. We want you safe and sound following a storm. Be smart.

Just a follow up on the office hours change from last week. I am open for appointments in or out of the office outside of those times. I check email and voicemail 7 days a week. I have had requests for proofs of insurance at midnight and sent at 7am while struggling to get the kids to get up for school. So while the office hours are shorter the time and energy I am willing to put into taking care of your needs has not changed.
One last quick note, do assume that there is coverage because you requested a change in an email or voicemail. I will always contact you when the change has been made and coverage is enforce.
