Today also marks the due date for employers to provide or mail W2s. If you have not recieved yours yet, either check your mail this week or contact the appropriate department at your work asking how to access your W2.

With tax season just a month or two away, I wanted to share a few updates:

• I have created a new email address: [email protected]. This email address should hopefully be a little shorter to type! Any emails sent to the old email will automatically be forwarded to the new email address so there should be no risk of missing emails.

• With earning my CPA license this past year, I’ve submitted an application to be recognized as a CPA firm. Once this is approved, the business will be rebranding to Graves CPA. The Nittany Business Solutions name will live on as the parent company with still having the hope of someday being a one stop shop for small business owners, but for now the Graves CPA name better reflects the services I’m currently offering.

• I’ve switched to a new tax preparation software for the coming tax season. This software features the option of a client portal, through which client can securely upload documents, view the status of their returns, and electronically sign their return once it’s ready. If any existing or new clients are interested in creating their portal account, please reach out and I would be happy to email you more information.
