Most people come to DAC for the income.

Some of them eventually want to build something bigger. So we built DAC for both types of people.

You can earn full-time as a solo broker. No team, no recruiting, just helping business owners access capital.

Or you can recruit, train, and earn overrides on every deal your agency funds. Scale it the same way a real estate or insurance team leader would.

You don't need a team to start. But if you build one, the income and impact ceiling gets a lot higher.

Two very different paths. One starting point. Both legitimate. The only question is how big you want to build.

I spent years in network marketing and eventually felt guilty.

Not because the products weren't good. They were.

Not because the income opportunity wasn't real. It was.

But much of what was being earned came from the fees of new reps getting started - or their own purchases.

Paying fees or buying product packages before they'd made a single dollar themselves.

I eventually realized that was a conflict of interest dressed up as a partnership.

When I built David Allen Capital, I made one thing non-negotiable: We do not earn on a broker until a broker earns first. Nor do the Agency leaders.

No startup fees. No monthly minimums. No profiting off someone else's hope.

If we haven't built something good enough for brokers to make money, we don't deserve to make money either. That's the only version of this I'm willing to run.

It took me a few years as a rep to get here.

But I'd rather build it right than build it fast the wrong way.

This is perhaps the number one lie in network marketing:

"You have to build a team to make real money."

I’d argue otherwise.

Because that's not a business model, that’s an internal consumption machine.

DAC brokers serve local business owners who need access to capital. Average commission per funded deal is around $3,000.

No team required. Yet, you can offer this same opportunity to others and build an agency if you want to.

We provide valuable service every business owner actually needs. And a product that sells itself when it's explained honestly.

The income follows the value, not the other way around.

Many DAC brokers fund clients in their first month.

No prior finance experience, existing book of business, or team underneath him.

Just a willingness to learn the process, follow the system, and show up consistently for local business owners who needed access to capital.

They didn’t need to recruit a single person to get there either. Yet they can offer the same opportunity to others and benefit from it.

Now imagine how much better they could do next year?

When you’re working underneath the right system, you’re finally given the ability to sprout your wings and fly.

The world is your oyster. At least when you’re set up properly.

The same can apply to you.

Most business opportunities charge you before you earn a dime.

They profit from your start date. Not your success.

Imagine if you’re a brand-new real estate agent You’d be charge each month right off the rip.

Whereas DAC brokers go through full certified training at zero cost. No startup fee. No monthly fees or autoship. No earning for DAC just on your hope.

In other words, we don't make a dime until you make a dollar.

That's not a tagline. It's the only business model I'm comfortable building.

Because I've been on the wrong side of the other one. I left a company I built because I couldn't run it that way anymore.

What does a DAC broker actually do day-to-day?

I get this question a lot. Let me break it down plainly:

A DAC broker's job is simple: connect business owners who need working capital with Bank Breezy's funding platform. That's it.

You don't underwrite loans.

You don't present the offer (our internal team does that).

You don't manage the repayment.

You're the local connector.

The trusted referral source.

The person in your market who business owners call when they need options.

Here's what a typical deal looks like:

You meet a restaurant owner at your Chamber of Commerce. She mentions cash is tight and she's thinking about a remodel but doesn't know how to fund it. You share what we do. You send her to your Bank Breezy link. She fills out a 5-minute application and uploads 3 months of bank statements. Our team takes it from there, pulls offers from multiple top-tier lenders, presents them to her, and helps her decide.

If she funds? You earn a commission. Average deal: around $3,000 to you.

Now multiply that by the business owners already in your network. Your dentist. Your mechanic. Your local contractor. Your dry cleaner. Many of them either need working capital now or will within the next 12 months.

You don't need a financial license. You don't need a sales background. We provide the Training. You need to know people, know how to have a real conversation, and genuinely want to help.

If this sounds like something worth a conversation, I'm available (send me a message!).

You don't need a license to be a business lender.

Let’s unpack what that really means:

Anyone, with no training, no ethics review, no background check, no regulatory oversight, can wake up tomorrow, call themselves a funding company, and start offering business loans.

In real estate, you need a license. In financial advising, you need a license. In insurance, you need a license.

In alternative business funding? Nothing required. You can literally start today.

This is the reason our industry has a reputation problem.

I've watched lenders take advantage of business owners in a bad month. Stack loans on top of loans without disclosing the full picture. Charge NSF fees larger than the missed payment. And with Credit Card Advances take 50% of their next week’s sales because they became nervous.

These aren't hypotheticals. I've seen all of them.

At DAC, we built our own certification process for brokers because we knew the industry wouldn't regulate itself. We vet every lender partner we work with. We've dropped providers who didn't meet our standard, even when it cost us business.

The way I see it: we're either part of the problem or we're part of the solution.

We chose. And we build everything around that choice.

If you're considering any funding option, here are three questions to ask before you sign:

1. Is anyone in this process paid more if you say yes?
2. Do they disclose the full cost, not just the factor rate, but the total payback?
3. Will they tell you not to take the deal if it's not right for you?

If you can't get clear answers to all three, walk away.
