Being a DAC broker and being self-employed aren’t the same thing.
Most people who join start out thinking of themselves as solopreneurs.
One person, one pipeline, one income stream tied entirely to their own activity.
That's a valid starting point and a real income model on its own.
But a broker who starts recruiting other brokers into their agency crosses a line that changes the business altogether.
Now, income arrives from activity they didn't personally generate.
Deals fund in their agency while they're on vacation, handling a family obligation, or focused on something else entirely.
One model pays you for your time.
The other builds something that runs beyond it.
