Hotel Fauchère was officially added to the National Register of Historic Places, recognising its beautiful architecture and the important role it has played in our community's history.

It first opened its doors in 1880, and over the years it's welcomed everyone from presidents and artists to writers and travellers from around the world. Imagine all the conversations, celebrations, and memories those walls have witnessed over nearly a century and a half.
**
Today, it's still one of Milford's most cherished landmarks, and every time I walk by, I'm reminded how lucky we are to live in a town that values its history and works so hard to preserve it for future generations.

I think that's one of the things that makes Milford so special. We don't just appreciate where we're going... we take pride in where we've been.

And as Caileigh Cares comes to a close, we're incredibly grateful for everyone who has donated, shared our mission, or helped support the Port Jervis Humane Society.

Every toy, cozy bed, bag of food, and memorial gift has been a beautiful way to honor Caileigh's life while bringing comfort to pets still waiting for a family of their own.
