Here are two coverage differences every homeowner should understand:

✔ Replacement Cost vs. Actual Cash Value (ACV)
Some policies replace your damaged roof with a new one, while others reduce your claim based on the roof's age and depreciation. That could mean paying thousands more out of pocket after a storm.

✔ Flat Deductible vs. 1% Wind & Hail Deductible
A flat $2,500 deductible is exactly that. But a 1% deductible on a $450,000 home is $4,500, an extra $2,000 before insurance pays a dime. Additionally, a 1% deductible is going to adjust each year as your dwelling amount adjusts for inflation.

The lowest premium doesn't always provide the best protection.

This morning, my daughter and I had the chance to drop off coffee and donuts for the incredible staff at her school. It’s a small gesture, and it doesn’t come close to matching the impact they make every single day.
