Most people don’t actually have a career problem.

They have an income ceiling problem.

No matter how hard they work, their compensation is limited by the structure of their job.

At the recent Farmers Full Throttle Leadership Summit, District 61 proudly took the national stage as District Manager Richard Martin was invited to serve on a panel of Innovative DM Leaders, highlighting the district’s forward-thinking approach to recruiting and talent development.

During the discussion, Richard shared how District 61 has built a powerful recruiting engine led by Director of Talent Acquisition Destyne Quarles and recruiters Shawn Byrd and Destinee Pascal. Leveraging platforms like IdealTraits, LinkedIn, and Indeed, the team runs targeted campaigns that funnel candidates into a centralized, automated Monday.com recruiting system.

This streamlined process tracks candidates from first contact through hiring, onboarding, and key milestones, guiding them through the Protege and Producer training programs, and ultimately toward agency ownership and long-term agency development.
District 61 continues to set the standard for building the next generation of Farmers leaders.
