Getting someone interested in life insurance—especially an Indexed Universal Life (IUL) policy—is only half the job. The real challenge is guiding them from curiosity to conviction. And that’s where most conversations stall.

2. What if I can’t keep up with premiums or need to pause contributions?

→ Flexibility is built into the design. Premiums can be adjusted, skipped, or resumed depending on life’s changes, as long as there’s sufficient value to cover the costs of insurance. Life happens—and the policy can adapt with it.

3. What if I want to access my money later?

It’s important to remember that a mortgage isn’t the only cost of keeping a home.

There’s also property taxes and insurance that are in addition to monthly payments, which can cost many thousands of dollars. If your family can’t afford to pay these costs, they’d have to sell the home even if the mortgage was paid in full.
