Huge shout out to MyMichigan Health for taking such great care of me today. I went into urgent care with some pretty bad stomach pain and was quickly sent to the ER where they discovered it was appendicitis. Before I knew it, I was in surgery getting my appendix removed.

I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing doctors, nurses, and staff who made the whole experience smooth and reassuring. Truly a 10/10 experience during a situation that could have been a lot worse.

A special thank you to my amazing wife Heather for being by my side the entire time. Seeing my kids on video tonight absolutely made my night and reminded me how precious life really is. Sometimes we take the little moments for granted, and today was a reminder not to.

Also a big thank you to my office staff for holding down the fort while Heather and I were away and stepping up when we needed you most. And to all my friends and family who have checked in and supported us today — it means more than you know.
