Student Athlete Spotlight: Kaidyn!

We were fortunate enough to meet Kaidyn through her time here at HFCU! Kaidyn is a student athlete at SUNY Oneonta, forming part of the Swimming & Diving team!

She is dedicated, ambitious, and outgoing! We wish Kaidyn all the best in her future endeavors and will be cheering her on from the Hudson Valley all the way to Otsego County!

Today is the last day with our summer interns!

We absolutely appreciate every one of our awesome interns. Joshua, Kaiydn, Julia & Kieran were awesome additions to our team and have really step into their respective roles. They have collaborated on projects and meetings and have done wonderful work here at HFCU!

We got together with the team and handed out some HFCU goodies for successful completion of the intern program! We can't thank you guys enough for your dedication, collaboration and teamwork!

Kelly, from our Financial Development Center, got together with Green Teen Beacon to continue to learn the ins and outs of financial literacy!

Today is Financial Literacy Awareness Day and we wanted to share a small reel of what we do in collaboration with Green Teen Beacon with the mission of empowering our local youth to be financially knowledgeable!

The activities range from physical games, to problem solving, to real world scenario practice! It's been a blast getting together with the younger community members and teach them financial literacy, and the steps they can take in their own lives to be money smart!

We look forward to working with even more youth from all across the Hudson Valley as well as working with Green Teen Beacon once again!

We are a little more than halfway through the summer already!!

Summer has been special this year! We have been involved in so much from handing out small business recovery grants, to helping in the betterment of youth baseball fields, to renovation projects, and with highlighting community stars such as Jelien, a childhood cancer warrior, at Heritage Financial Park.

We're so excited to see what the last half of summer has in store for us and for our local communities across the Hudson Valley! We'll be seeing you out there in the summer heat!
