We’re proud to introduce the first Ellafi Kind Strength in Action event, an empowering morning focused on self-defense, safety, mental wellness and messages of hope in support of domestic violence survivors.

Join us as we come together with an incredible lineup of speakers to:
• Learn simple self-defense techniques
• Get practical personal and home safety tips
• Learn about domestic violence prevention and survivor resources
• Hear messages focused on mental wellness, resilience and hope
• Connect with others who believe in building a safer, stronger community

Empowering Women in Our Community: Meet Dina M. L.

Dina has been an Ellafi Federal Credit Union member since her late twenties, when her father encouraged her to join what was then Seasons Federal Credit Union.

Over the years, she has turned to Ellafi for guidance through important financial milestones and has valued the personal connection and support she’s received along the way.

"I've always seen Ellafi as a place where you're part of a family, not just a transaction."

Today, Dina continues to empower others through her work as Director of The Women's Advancement Initiative at the University of Hartford, helping students build confidence and achieve their goals.

The Sisters' Project supports cancer patients and their families through local fundraising and community initiatives that provide comfort, care, and meaningful assistance during treatment and recovery.

Through this month's Ellafi Kind giveaway, they're receiving $500 to support programs that bring relief and support to families impacted by cancer in our community.

Our fourth July Ellafi Kind Nonprofit Giveaway winner is here!

Congratulations to the The Women's Advancement Initiative at the University of Hartford, nominated by Ellafi member Barbara P.!

The Women's Advancement Initiative will receive a $500 grant from Ellafi Kind to support students in its Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) program. The program provides participants with the tools, training, and community they need to successfully transition from college to their careers.
