Every day, nonprofits across our communities are helping families, empowering women, educating young girls, providing housing support, and creating positive change. Now it's your chance to help us recognize them.

The Ellafi Kind Nonprofit Giveaway is back, and we're inviting our members to nominate a local nonprofit for a chance to receive a $500 donation from Ellafi Kind.

✨ Five nonprofits will be selected.

Could you spot the signs of a scam?

At our recent Protect Yourself from Financial Fraud event, Kathleen Titsworth from the Connecticut Department of Banking shared four common warning signs that consumers should watch for:

🚩 Scammers PRETEND to be from an organization you know and trust
🚩 Scammers say there is a PROBLEM or a PRIZE
🚩 Scammers PRESSURE you to act immediately
🚩 Scammers ask you to PAY in a specific way, such as gift cards, cryptocurrency, or wire transfers

If you encounter any of these red flags, stop, verify the information independently, and never feel rushed into making a decision.
