Today almost brought me to tears.
Watching Black leaders at the highest levels of behavioral health share their wisdom from the stage reminded me why representation matters.
Then I spent the rest of the day connecting with future doctoral colleagues, discussing the future of financial social work, and even talking with Springer Publishing about a future book.
There are moments when life gets very quiet and very clear.
Today was one of those moments.
I know my mission. I know my direction. And I know it’s time to trust the path in front of me.
