✨ TEAM MEMBER TUESDAY ✨

Meet Cori!

Born and raised in Oldham County, Kentucky, family has always been at the center of everything Cori does. She and her husband Jamie are raising their two children while soaking up every milestone and all of the cuteness along the way.

Cori joined HCLSF in November 2022, and from day one she’s had a passion for helping people protect what matters most. Whether it’s helping customers understand their coverage, explaining any and all billing questions, preparing for the unexpected, or walking beside them through a claim, she strives to be a steady and caring resource through every season of life.

Around the office, Cori is known for always being barefoot, wearing sandals and capris even in the middle of winter, and showing up an hour early because she’s definitely an early bird. She’s always up for an adventure… even if that means carrying a desk through the parking lot just to see how it would look in the new office before construction was finished 😂 (see the proof below)

She’s a coffee lover, a huge people pleaser to a fault, and somehow always has a story to tell. Between calls, you’ll usually catch her playing a quick game at her desk just to keep herself sane. She loves to have fun, but once it gets past her bedtime… everyone can tell 😴

Cori brings so much laughter, energy, and care to our office every single day, and our customers feel that the moment they meet her. We’re incredibly thankful she’s part of our team!

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

Our office is closed today in observance of Memorial Day as we take time to reflect on the meaning of this day and honor those who gave everything for our freedom.

Today, we’re spotlighting Monic.

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Monic now proudly serves families here in Kentucky. Monic has been a valuable asset to our agency since October 2024. As a mom of five in a blended family and a proud grandma, she knows firsthand how important it is to protect the people you love most — especially when it comes to life insurance.

Monic is bilingual in English and Spanish and is passionate about helping families in our community feel informed, supported, and cared for. Her husband serves as a recruiter with the Kentucky Army National Guard, which has given her a special appreciation for serving military families as well.

Outside of the office, you’ll usually find Monic and her husband at church, cheering on their kids at games and activities, walking their pup Bailey, spending time with their adorable granddaughter, traveling back to El Paso to visit family, trying new restaurants, and making the most of quality time together.
