What is a food bank?🤔🍊

In a message brought to you by our friends at Hearthside Bank, we want to help clear up the confusion! A food bank stores purchased and donated product, which is then sorted and packed by volunteers. The food is then distributed out to the community through partner agencies, which are also known as food pantries!

Our food bank is mighty but we couldn’t do it without the help of our 850+ partners that allow us to reach neighbors across East Tennessee. If you would like to join in the fight against hunger this , we encourage you to volunteer at our warehouse, donate food, or help us spread the word about food insecurity.
