🚧 FDOT Road and Lane Closure Report: May 30-June 5, 2026 🚧

Motorists should be aware of the following upcoming road and lane closures in our area, as reported by FDOT:

State Road 16 (from SR 21 to U.S. 17)
Nighttime lane closures with flaggers Sunday–Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., for road work.

U.S. 17 at County Road 15A
Daytime lane closures through September 8, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., for turn lane construction, median storm drain installation, and shoulder work.

U.S. 17 at Hall Park Road
Daytime lane closures through June 26, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for road widening.

U.S. 17 from Oak Street to Black Creek Bridge
Nighttime lane closures Sunday–Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 6 a.m., for road work.

U.S. 17 from Water Oak Lane to Eagle Harbor Parkway
Nighttime northbound lane closures Sunday–Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., for road work.

🍎🥦 FREE Summer Meals for Kids in Clay County! ☀️🍗

Clay County District Schools Food & Nutrition Services is excited to announce our Summer 2026 Food Service Program! From June 8th to July 31st, all children ages 18 and under can receive free, nutritious meals.

No applications are required! We have two types of meal options available Monday through Friday depending on the location:

🚗 USDA Rural Sites (Off-Site Pick-up / Grab & Go)
Parents/children can pick up a hot lunch and a cold breakfast for the next day to enjoy at home!
⏰ Time: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
📍 Locations:
• Keystone Elementary, McRae Elementary, Shadowlawn Elementary, Wilkinson Elementary

🍽️ USDA Non-Rural Sites (On-Site Consumption / Dine-In)
Children must eat their hot meals at the school during the designated times.
⏰ Times: Monday – Friday | Breakfast: 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM | Lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Locations:
• Argyle Elementary, Charles E. Bennett Elementary, Swimming Pen Creek Elementary, Orange Park Junior High

Please note: There will be no meal service on July 2nd–3rd in observance of Independence Day. Sites are subject to close based on participation.
