📅 Medicare's Annual Enrollment Period opens Thursday, October 15 and runs through December 7.

If you do nothing, your plan renews automatically on January 1 — with whatever changes it made for 2027. Those changes are in the Annual Notice of Change your plan mailed you in September. Before October 15, open it and check:

✅ Are your prescriptions still covered, at the same tier?
✅ Are your doctors still in the network?
✅ Did the out-of-pocket maximum change?
✅ Did the premium or copays change?

One change for 2027: the Part D out-of-pocket cap on prescription drugs rises to $2,400.

Anthem has announced that SilverSneakers is no longer included with their Medicare Advantage plans in our area.

This means that if you are with Anthem, you may not have access to SilverSneakers gyms and fitness classes starting this year.

The good news? Some other Medicare Advantage plans do still offer fitness benefits like SilverSneakers or similar programs.

As a licensed Medicare broker, I can help you review your options and see which plans include the benefits that matter most to you.
