Life been feeling real weird lately… like blessings, heartbreak, growth, confusion, peace, and exhaustion all happening at the same time. Some days I feel grateful. Some days I feel mentally drained. Some days I’m just sitting there trying to figure out what lesson God is teaching me through all of this. But no matter how confusing life gets, I still wake up and keep going. I still move with faith. I still believe everything is going to come together the way it’s supposed to, even if I can’t fully see it yet. I’ve stopped trying to rush the timing of everything. Now I’m just learning how to grow through seasons that don’t completely make sense yet. And honestly, if you needed this reminder too… don’t give up. Keep pushing. Life has a way of turning things around when you least expect it.

Congratulations, you lost the woman who stayed loyal to you when everybody else gave up on you.

The woman who defended your name when you weren’t around, forgave things she never should’ve had to forgive, and kept choosing you even while silently hurting herself in the process.

She stretched herself thin trying to love you the right way. She gave patience where there should’ve been accountability, gave understanding when her own heart was breaking, and carried emotional weight she was never meant to carry alone.

She believed in you even during moments you didn’t believe in yourself. Loved you deeply, supported you genuinely, and stayed longer than most people would have.

And instead of protecting that kind of love, you became comfortable with it. You took it for granted like it would always be there no matter how she was treated.

Now she’s different.

Not hateful, not bitter… just changed. More guarded with her heart, more careful with her energy, and less willing to pour endlessly into people who don’t value her.

Because losing a woman who truly loved you through everything isn’t a small loss. That kind of love is rare, and one day you’ll fully realize what you had after she’s already healed and moved on.

The Unfinished Room Theory says every person you let into your life builds a "room" inside you. Some people decorate it beautifully. Some rearrange things. Some leave mid-renovation with tools everywhere and the lights flickering.

Even when they're gone, the room stays and it quietly affects how you love, trust, attach, and show up. Once you're aware of the layout, you decide what stays, what gets remodeled, and what gets boarded up.

Still your house. Always was.
