Amerant Bancorp Inc. has announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Carlos Iafigliola as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective May 18, 2026. Mr. Iafigliola has also been appointed President and CEO of Amerant Bank N.A., the Company’s main operating subsidiary. Mr. Iafigliola has served as Interim Chief Executive Officer since November 2025.
