When I first moved to China for my internship, I had no idea what to expect. I thought I'd dive right into something exciting and marketing-related. Instead, I spent my first week making coffee for everyone 😅.

So, I quit and decided to take matters into my own hands. I started traveling by train, visiting supplier factories, and searching for products to sell on Amazon.

Quitting that internship was honestly the best decision I could’ve made. It forced me into uncertainty, and that's where I learned to figure things out on my own.

A few days later, I ate fish from a street cart. Bad move. I ended up with food poisoning and passed out in a taxi. The driver rushed me to a hospital that didn’t take insurance and somehow only accepted cash...

At the time, it felt like I’d made a huge mistake by going to China. But looking back, those chaotic, messy days of entrepreneurship are some of my fondest memories. They taught me how to thrive on my own and figure things out.
