There are moments when words don’t feel like enough.
Our hearts are with everyone affected by the earthquake in Venezuela. While the news cycle moves on, thousands of people are still facing the consequences of this tragedy and continue to need support.
As a small gesture of solidarity, the Vertilux team gathered essential supplies and delivered them to El Arepazo in Doral, which is serving as an official collection point for Global Empowerment Mission (GEM). From there, these donations will be sent to help families impacted by this disaster.
For us, Venezuela is much more than a place on the map. The roots of what Vertilux is today were born in Caracas. For many of us, Venezuela will always be our birthplace, and for all of us, it will always hold a special place in our hearts.
We’re especially grateful that our colleagues in Caracas are safe, but we know many families are facing unimaginable challenges.
If you’d like to help, we’ve included information in the following images about the items currently needed and where donations can be dropped off. El Arepazo is one of the official drop-off locations, but there are many, making it easy for our local community to contribute.
Every act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference.
