One thing I’ve learned over the years…
A real estate deal is rarely just about the loan.
Before I got into lending, I spent years in real estate sales. I listed properties, showed homes, worked with buyers and tenants, and helped clients navigate transactions from start to finish.
That’s probably why I look at deals a little differently.
When an investor calls me, I’m not just thinking about rates and terms.
I’m thinking about the property.
The strategy.
The timeline.
The potential roadblocks.
And most importantly, how to get the deal done.
Maybe that’s the real advantage of having a real estate background before becoming a lender.
I don’t just understand the financing.
I understand the deal.
