En los últimos días han circulado publicaciones afirmando que Florida eliminará los impuestos sobre la propiedad. Sin embargo, es importante aclarar que actualmente NO existe una ley aprobada que elimine dichos impuestos.

Lo que existe es una propuesta respaldada por el gobernador Ron DeSantis para ampliar significativamente la exención Homestead (residencia principal). La medida todavía debe completar el proceso constitucional y ser aprobada por los votantes antes de entrar en vigor.

¿Qué significa esto para los inversionistas?
✅ Propietarios que viven en la vivienda como residencia principal podrían beneficiarse si la propuesta es aprobada.
❌ Propiedades de inversión.
❌ Airbnb y alquileres vacacionales.
❌ Segundas residencias.
❌ Propiedades comerciales.
❌ Compradores internacionales que adquieren inmuebles para renta o inversión.
