🚨 Turning 65 soon?

One of the biggest Medicare mistakes I see is people waiting until their birthday month to start looking into their options.

The good news is that Medicare gives you a 7-month enrollment period—but understanding your choices early can make the process much less stressful.

If you're approaching age 65, this is information you don't want to miss.

Have questions about Medicare? Feel free to reach out.

Medicare information overload is real — and it's not your fault.

The reason most Medicare research leaves folks more confused is because generic information can't account for your specific situation. Your doctors, your medications, what coverage you're coming from — those details change everything.

Before anyone recommends a plan to you, these four questions need to be answered first: What coverage do you have right now? Which doctors do you need to keep? What medications are you on? Do you want flexibility or lower premiums?

What's the Medicare question you can't seem to get a straight answer on? Drop it below — I read every comment. 🙏

Your friend loves their Medicare Advantage plan — but their doctors might not be your doctors.

Before you turn 65 and copy someone else's plan, confirm these 3 things:

✅ Are YOUR doctors in-network?
✅ Are YOUR medications covered at a competitive cost?
✅ Is YOUR preferred hospital in-network?

If all three check out — great. If not, that plan could cost you more than you think.

One form helped lower my client’s Medicare costs by $385/month. Most retirees have never heard of it. If you're paying more for Medicare than you expected, this may be why. Watch the full breakdown below.

Turning 65 this year? Here's what Medicare is actually going to cost you in 2026 — real numbers, no fluff.

Medicare Part B (your medical coverage) is $202.90 per month. If you're already collecting Social Security, it comes straight out of your check before you see it. If not, Medicare bills you quarterly.

On top of that, there's a $283 annual deductible for Part B.

Here's the part most people don't realize: Medicare only pays 80% of your medical bills. You're responsible for the remaining 20% — and there is no cap on that number. No maximum out-of-pocket. Ever.

That's why most people turning 65 add either a Medicare Supplement plan or a Medicare Advantage plan — to protect themselves from open-ended bills.

Which one is right for you depends on your specific situation. Drop a comment or book a free call and we'll walk you through it together.

Your Medicare Part B premium in 2026 is NOT a fixed number — it depends on what you earned in 2024.

The standard premium this year is $202.90 per month. But if you filed individually and earned over $109,000 in 2024 — or over $218,000 filing jointly — Medicare charges you more. It's called IRMAA: the Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount.

It applies to both Part B and Part D, and it increases in steps based on your income bracket.

A lot of people heading into Medicare this year have no idea this is coming. They budget for $202.90 and then get a very different number in the mail.

If you're not sure where your 2024 income puts you on the IRMAA scale, drop a comment or book a free call — we'll walk you through it in plain language.

"One of the most challenging parts of my work is meeting people who feel confused because they have spoken with multiple agents and received different information. Medicare is important, and it helps to feel confident in who you choose to guide you. Before working with anyone, take a moment to look them up, check their website or social media, and make sure their approach is focused on education rather than pressure.

My priority is to offer clarity, honesty, and support from the very first conversation.

Be cautious with unexpected calls offering “extra benefits” or “cash back.”
I recently spoke with someone who accepted an unsolicited call and was switched into a different plan than they expected. It caused confusion they weren’t prepared for.

Please remind your parents and grandparents to avoid sharing personal information with unknown callers and to double-check before making any Medicare changes.

If you ever feel unsure about a plan or want help understanding your options, I’m here to offer clear, educational guidance.
