Paystubs are an important part of the pre-qualification process.

If you’re a W-2 employee, lenders typically need your most recent 30 days of paystubs:

• Weekly pay → 4 paystubs
• Bi-weekly or twice per month → 2 paystubs
• Monthly pay → 1 paystub

We may also request year-end paystubs for the previous 2 years to more accurately calculate your income — especially if you receive commissions, bonuses, tips, or overtime.

Having these documents ready helps make the pre-qualification process faster and smoother.
