BHSFFCU was originally established as South Miami Hospital Employees FCU on May 18, 1961. With only 11 original members and $55 in total assets, the Credit Union's journey began its mission of helping members reach their financial objectives. Fast forward almost 60 years, and we are growing strong with more than 12,000 members and $98 million in assets and a 5-star rating from Bauer Financial. As

a non-profit financial institution, the Credit Union provides products and services to its members at a low cost and with few fees. Members receive individual attention that ensures satisfaction with each product and service and to nurture long-term relationships. Credit Union staff is highly trained and dedicated to giving accurate advice and service to members. Our goal and commitment is to provide the best possible service to our membership.
