This past July 13, 2026 Hometown Heroes (HTH) started. Last year the funds went fast so it’s important to apply early.
What is HTH? This is a down payment assitance home buyer program that the state of Florida offers to 1st time homebuyers. You can qualify for up to $35,000 of the loan amount toward closing cost or down payment assistance. Most if not all of your out of pocket cost could be covered.
