I heard a statistic yesterday that I want to share with y'all. 93% of hospital visits cost about the same or slightly more than the average deductible on a health insurance policy. Let that sink in for a second. What did you pay all that money for if they'll still smack you with a huge bill? My opinion of it is this, if you can't afford your deductible, you can't afford that policy. I have some options that require $0 Deductible to begin receiving benefits, with multiple options to minimize your exposure to financial risk.
