My Agency is starting to see homeowners insurance premiums lowered by 5 to 10% and Commercial property rates dropping by 15 to 25% ! Also, new companies are starting to write policies which creates competition that helps lower rates as well. Removal of the Three Year Rule and the continuation of the Fortified Roof grant program are all making our marketplace more attractive to set up shop and or expand writing capacity of more risks and more territories that we're at a standstill since Hurricane Ida.
