Canal HR employees have been bringing in food for Second Harvest Food Bank. Today we took the food to Second Harvest along with $500 in donations. Hello Everyone,

We are going to do another Food Drive for Second Harvest Food Bank.

We will collect canned goods and other non-perishable food items.
Starting tomorrow thru December 22nd. That is two weeks.
On December 22nd, We will take the items to the Food Bank in Elmwood.

Here are some photos from out last food drive, attached to this email.
Last time we did this it was in response to the Baton Rouge Flood and people needed lots of things besides food.
This time we are going to just concentrate on food.

We know firsthand, because of what we do for a living that there are still a bunch of people out of work and struggling due to COVID.
Can you imagine what it would be like to not know where your next meal was coming from? Or the look on your child’s face when you have to tell them there is nothing to eat?

Let’s see if we can’t collect more than we did a few years ago.

Anyone who brings in an item will have there name added to a drawing for a $250.00 Ruth Chris gift card.

Place your item under and around the Christmas tree in the lobby and make sure I know, so I can add your name to the drawing.
