🔥 Stop chasing what feels good and start pursuing what is Godly.
Be transformed and renewed by the Word of God. Welcome correction. Embrace wisdom. Walk in righteousness, authority, and excellence in all you do.
💝 The world rewards compromise for a season, but God rewards obedience for generations.🙏🏻
Choose wisdom. Choose growth. Choose the path that leads to life. 🙏🏻
This passage from Proverbs 9:7-18 contrasts two paths:
THE WAY OF WISDOM
Wisdom welcomes correction, instruction, and growth. A wise person does not become offended when truth is spoken; they become better. The fear of the Lord—reverence, obedience, and submission to God—is the foundation of true wisdom. Those who pursue God’s wisdom gain discernment, purpose, longevity, and the fruit of a life lived in righteousness.
THE WAY OF FOLLY
Folly is portrayed as loud, seductive, and deceptive. She promises shortcuts, secret pleasures, and immediate gratification. Her invitations sound appealing, but they ultimately lead to destruction. The passage warns that what appears attractive in the moment can quietly pull a person away from God’s best and into spiritual death.
Wisdom receives correction and grows. Folly rejects truth and follows feelings. One path leads to life; the other leads to ruin.
