One of our favorite moments from the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of AZ convention! Our President Mike Gallaugher joined Jake “The Snake” Plummer on stage during lunch, and Jake had the whole room cheering as he threw autographed ASU footballs into the crowd.

We’re proud of Mike’s leadership and grateful to be part of a community that brings this much energy and heart to supporting Arizona’s independent insurance agents.

This Saturday, Toro Insurance Group’s Mike and Jaxon Gallaugher are racing in the Mesa Sprint Triathlon with a group of friends in tribute to Dustin Young.

Dustin passed away this week from brain cancer at just 28 years old. He leaves behind his wife, Sera, and their two little boys, including a baby born just two weeks ago. Our hearts are with them, and we hope you’ll join us in surrounding their family with love and support.

Jaxon has been putting in the training. Mike is taking the race spot originally registered to Dustin’s brother-in-law. He hasn’t been training, but he’s showing up for Dustin and for his dad, Gary Gallaugher, who is battling advanced melanoma. They’ll both be on his mind throughout the race.
