At My Queen Creek News, we’re more than just a news source, we’re a family deeply rooted in Arizona.

Meet Gene Pastorino, born and raised right here in the Valley, with ties to Queen Creek that go back generations. His grandfather owned a dairy farm in Chandler, and his grandmother lived on San Tan Mountain, where Gene often hauled water up the mountain to her home long before modern conveniences reached the area. It’s a story that reflects the grit, hard work, and resilience that helped shape this community.

That legacy continues today.

Gene’s father was also born and raised in Arizona, continuing a proud, multi-generational connection to the place we’re proud to call home.

On the other side of the family, Samantha was also born and raised in Arizona, growing up in the beautiful White Mountains relocating to Queen Creek in 2011. With her mother also being Arizona-born and raised, their story represents multiple generations who have lived, worked, and built their lives right here in this state.

And today, that legacy carries on through their own family, seven kids, all born in Arizona and raised right here in Queen Creek.

Together, the Pastorino Team isn’t just reporting on Queen Creek, they’re part of its story.

We know there’s been a lot of conversation lately about growth and change in our community. And while new neighbors are always welcome, we want you to know this: our roots here run deep. Our commitment to Queen Creek isn’t new, it’s personal.
