You know that voice in your head? The one tearing you down, telling you that others are stronger, smarter, and more successful?

Here's how to silence that voice forever.

Stop comparing your results to others. Instead, compare your results to yourself.

All that matters is that you're growing. Tune out the flexers and the narcissists. Focus on your own growth.

It's no secret that a significant portion of the world is in a financial crisis.

There are reports of people struggling with debt and bankruptcy everywhere you look. It's a cycle of getting into debt, getting out, and then back in again.

So what can you do to protect yourself from falling into the same cycle?

It begins with financial literacy. Why?

It isn't easy to fix something you don't understand, especially when it comes to money.

Financial literacy is not just about being able to balance a checkbook—it's about learning how your finances work so you can make the best decisions for yourself and those closest to you.

If you learn enough, you can break the Sucker Cycle and build real wealth as an individual.

Issues like calculating your monthly cash flow, budgeting, types of insurance, understanding various retirement vehicles, and saving for college all play a critical role in your financial success or lack thereof.

How are you performing compared to a past version of yourself? Have you improved, even a little? Then you're good. Just keep pushing forward.

If your performance hasn't improved or slipped, that's okay. Simply readjust your approach, and keep moving.

And keep in mind, the people you admire are an illusion. You only see the highlight reel, and not the day-to-day grind behind the scenes.

You've honed your skills. You've applied your skills to a problem. You've helped friends and loved ones for free. Now, you're ready for the major leagues. You're ready for paying customers.

The key to finding paying customers? Consistency. If you're the first person people think of when a problem comes up, they're far more likely to become customers.

And the key to consistency? Following up with value.

What does that look like? Here are some ideas...

Offer a pay-if-you're-happy service

Send a holiday greeting.

Share tips and advice with a newsletter or free diagnostic call.

These simple follow-up strategies can, over time, convert even the most stubborn of leads into happy—even lifetime—clients.

The key? Keep it simple. The easier it is to execute, the more likely you are to make it happen.

Congratulations! You're an entrepreneur. And you're on your way to great things.

Finding customers doesn't have to be an exhausting struggle... if you use this single tip.

Help people for free. No strings attached.

Why? Because humans are reciprocal creatures. It's natural to help people who have helped us.

It's why you feel compelled to give gifts to people who have given you a gift. It's part of how human social relationships work.

So when you're firing up a new venture, help people for free. Tell them you're starting a business, and serve them with no strings attached. When you're done, share the results on your social media (with their blessing).

This builds your business along two critical dimensions...

1. It gives you testimonials and case studies to share with future prospects. Nothing establishes your credibility like happy customers.

2. Your happy client is more likely to recommend your services to their friends and family. Again, there's no better salesperson than a happy customer!

Try it out, and share your results!

Businesses are built by solving problems.

The greater the problem, the more you stand to gain.

The more niche the problem, the greater your earning potential.

Name any business you like. It could be a car company, luxury brand, software as a service, a lemonade stand. They're all united by this one key function—they solve a problem.

The car company solves the problem of getting from point A to point B.

The luxury brand solves the problem of communicating social status.

The software as a service solves the problem of running a streamlined business in the 21st century.

And the lemonade stand? It solves the timeless problem of dehydration on a hot summer day.

Apply your skill to a problem. The business will follow.

Before you start a business, you must master your craft.

Sounds intimidating, right? Maybe it conjures up images of a mad artist throwing paint on a canvas until dawn, or a pro-athlete training sunup to sundown.

But it needn't be that difficult. There are three simple strategies you can leverage to make mastering your craft far easier.

1. Find something you love to do that you'e good at.
2. Set a timer to manage your time.
3. Break your skill into smaller sub-skills to master one by one.

The goal is to make practicing fun, manageable, and maximally effective.

If you get stuck, Google it. Better yet, seek out a mentor to teach you one-on-one.

Once you've mastered your craft, you're positioned to start a business. You've developed a skill that others have neither the time nor the interest to invest in. And that means you can start charging for your services.

Some illnesses are incurable. Why prepare for them?

Chronic diseases that are incurable and progressive, such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, typically require more careful planning because they involve the loss of executive functions.

These diseases often take time to progress. You will need to take specific measures to ensure your wishes are carried out when you can no longer decide for yourself.

It's essential to plan before symptoms develop and prepare for how these conditions might impact your loved one's ability to live independently or with help outside of natural aging processes.
