The frustration, anger, and exhaustion all hit at once. It’s the end of the day and that one kid in your class is so disrespectful. This is one kid that you won’t forget even 10 years down the road, and their name will go on the “do not name your own child these names” list. You know who I'm talking about. You say their name a million times a day. You keep one eye glued on them the whole time, and then you are relieved when lunch comes or the bell rings. You have a ton of other things on your plate that is hard to deal with, and then you have that kid on top of everything. When admin comes to evaluate you, you hope and pray that kid doesn't come to school. Your students don't need a stressed-out crazy teacher. They don’t need an enraged, hopeless, distracted, empty and exhausted, overwhelmed teacher. They need a happy, crazy, and excited teacher. Unfortunately, those negative feelings are more common than not. I used to come home from the day feeling done with everything. I just wanted to sit there and veg. Just like the school day comes with all different emotions. The real world comes with them too. Usually, those feelings stem from not having enough money throughout the month. When life throws challenges at us, it would make it easier to be able to hire someone else to take care of the problem or be able to buy whatever is needed without worrying if your card would go through. Just like there is a structure to follow in your classroom, there is a structure to follow when dealing with money.
This structure is called the financial house. The foundation is insurance. You need to protect your greatest asset, and that asset is you. If you were to die, your family would be left with bills to pay and emotional stress with no money coming in. When my husband and I got married, my dad gave us a life insurance Christmas present. At the time, I thought that was the worst gift ever, but now I know better. I’m thankful for that policy. My family is protected in case one of us dies. The best kind of protection life insurance is term life. The next floor to construct is a short-term savings. The third level is Debt Elimination. The fourth level is long term savings, and the roof is your goals and dreams.
If you follow the financial house, then the stress, and feelings of anger, hopelessness, distraction, emptiness, exhaustion, and being overwhelmed go away. You would be free. Just imagine how you would feel to have a short-term and long-term savings, no debt, and be able to fulfill your dreams. Message us today for an apt to get your financial house in order.
