There is a life-size bronze giraffe standing along Main Street and somehow, it perfectly captures who Paul Szkotak is.

Paul’s path into financial services was not traditional. Before becoming an advisor, he had already built successful businesses, developed a large real estate portfolio and achieved significant professional success. Then life took an unexpected turn through personal hardship, business challenges and difficult lessons that changed everything.

Those experiences now shape the way he serves clients, advocates for the profession and leads within NAIFA as National Vice Chair of Membership.

His story is a powerful reminder that sometimes the best advisors are the ones who have lived through the challenges their clients face.
