Don't skip checking the home's heating and cooling systems when it comes to house hunting. You’ll want to find out the age and condition of the systems, like the furnace, air conditioning unit and ductwork. Ask the seller for any maintenance or repair records, and see if they've been updated recently. The more modern the systems, the more efficiently they run. AKA, the cooler you’ll be in summer, the warmer you’ll be in winter and the more money you’ll save. ❄️🔥💰
