Please read this article written on "Go Fund Me".
As an insurance professional I was unprepared for the sudden and unexpected death of my 16 year old Daughter almost 1 year ago. We were blessed to be on the receiving end of many people's generosity through a Go Fund Me campaign in helping us lay to rest our daughter. I am extremely grateful for that. I quickly fixed that problem in my own insurance coverage for my other 4 children. They each have their own life insurance policies now should the unexpected happen again. God willing it doesn't.
I fully understand that nobody wants to think of burying a child or even a spouse, but the reality of life is that we don't have a crystal ball and can't predict the future. It is always better to be prepared than to be left questioning how something this major is going to get paid for. I even bought more life insurance on myself after my daughter died, realizing that I needed more to help my family out and not put anymore undue stress on them with my untimely passing. I understand the argument from people that say, "I have a life insurance policy through my employer". Well, maybe consider owning your own policy rather than a group life insurance plan as most people change jobs and careers a few times throughout their working life. Also, those group life insurance plans are only for a smaller amount that you can get on the open market and you generally don't get to carry on that policy when you quit working at that business.
I would be happy to help you look at some options that would give you and your family the coverage you want and need. My services to you and your family are free. I only get paid by an insurance company when I help enroll a person into a plan they want.

Life insurance is a topic that most people avoid, perhaps resulting in more than 7000 people dying daily uninsured. What is appearing to become a trend on social media sites are GoFundMe accounts where loved ones ask for donations to cover the funeral and final expense costs of their loved ones.
