Here's a simple "hack" to predict mortgage interest rate movements📈: just watch INFLATION. A lot of analysts get hyper-fixated on daily bond activity and Treasury/Federal Reserve news. Mortgage rates have been shown to move almost in lock-step with inflation over the long run. Keep it simple! 🎯

Did you know: Because of the way the Federal Reserve calculates inflation, they're capturing elevated rent prices going back an entire year. If they calculated real-time rent inflation, they'd be much less aggressive with the rate hikes we're seeing today.
