Our Debt Snowball Journey: The Granados Calidonio

Before planning on getting married to the love of my life I had ZERO debt, while my beautiful wife had a WHOPPING $19,600 auto loan. Two different sides of the spectrum I know, but I mention this because I know we can't possibly be the first couple to go through this or the last. So, I got the idea of sharing our journey to a DEBT FREE life! The main reason for this is my passion to help people succeed financially and secondly because we want to pave the way for those who wish to do the same. We dug ourselves into a big hole, but in order to create generational wealth we gotta get out! Now as we start our lives as ONE, we have a total of $23,284.64 in CONSUMER DEBT! But after a month of being married and talking about our financial goals we said ENOUGH is enough! As a couple, BOTH of us have COMMITTED to eliminating OUR debt as soon as possible. Along our journey we HOPE we instill the same mentality to any family, couple, or individuals who find themselves in similar situations. The road to a debt free life if we continue to pay the “minimum payments” would take 41 months, but we PLAN on destroying our debt in less than 12 months.
