“I will get life insurance when I am older.”

It is easy to put the conversation off until you have more responsibilities or more room in the budget.

Age and health can affect the cost of life insurance and your eligibility. Waiting may change your options, especially if your health changes along the way.

The right amount and type of coverage depend on your family, budget and needs. Starting the conversation now can help you understand what is available.

If you have been putting it off, reach out. No pressure. Just a straight look at what makes sense for your situation.

There is a lot that happens between the time a client first calls and the time they feel taken care of.

Listening closely. Following through. Making sure the next step is clear.

Those details matter to our team. We want every conversation to feel like it was handled by someone who paid attention to your situation.

That consistency is one of the things I am most proud of about this agency. Thank you for trusting us with your questions.

Raising your deductible may lower your premium. It also means taking on a larger share of a covered loss.

For example, changing a deductible from $500 to $1,500 means an additional $1,000 for you to absorb on a loss large enough for both deductibles to apply. This is an illustrative example; actual savings and policy terms vary. A deductible may be subtracted from a claim payment rather than paid to the insurer up front.

The right choice depends on your budget and savings as well as the premium. Could you comfortably cover that amount if a loss happened tomorrow?

If you are not sure what your current deductible is or whether it still fits your situation, reach out. We can walk through it together.

Ohio winters can bring frozen pipes, ice dams and heavy snow. Before the first freeze, it is worth understanding how your home policy addresses those risks.

Coverage depends on the cause of damage and your policy's terms, limits and exclusions. Maintaining heat and addressing roof, gutter, insulation and ventilation issues can also matter.

If you have questions about your coverage going into winter, reach out. We can review your limits, deductible and winter-weather questions together.

Tailgates and auto insurance probably aren't a pairing most people think about — but they have one thing in common: they're both about being prepared. You can't predict what happens in a crowded parking lot, but you can be ready for the unexpected. If you'd like to talk through your auto insurance, give us a call. ☎️ 440-585-5100

Medicare Open Enrollment runs from October 15 through December 7. Changes made during this period generally take effect January 1. Other enrollment periods may apply depending on your situation.

Your needs can change, and so can a plan's costs and benefits. Before you renew, review your Annual Notice of Change and check your medications, doctors and expected costs for the coming year.

Gather your plan notice, medication list and doctor names, then compare your options at Medicare.gov. It is a good time to help a family member put their questions together, too.
