Dejuan was two weeks away from closing when the original lender who preapproved him shared the bad news: they wouldn’t be able to close his loan after all. Obviously, he was extremely concerned that he would lose his new house. His realtor told him to call me.

Not only did we close on his house this week, we did so with a significantly lower rate, fewer closing fees, and a monthly payment that was over a hundred dollars cheaper — even with a mortgage that was five years shorter than before. The difference in savings between the two deals was hard to believe. Of course, the biggest difference is that our deal actually got done.

I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know Dejuan and help him make this happen. It’s an incredible feeling to be called a “blessing” just for doing your job well. That feeling will stick with me for a long time.
