If you’re an American traveling perpetually abroad, you don’t need a fixed address to build wealth. However, you do need a plan.

IRAs, 401(k)s thankfully don’t disappear after you move abroad, but you may need to change broker to an expat friendly one. Investing in the US avoids the complex reporting requirements that come with foreign funds and accounts.
