Two weeks ago, we granted our 21st wish with Make-A-Wish Mid-South! We had the honor and privilege of granting the wish of Joelle, who wanted to go to Romania and visit Peonari Citadel, the once-home of history’s famous (or infamous!) Vlad the Impaler. Paragon team members recreated an episode of Hollywood Squares, renamed Paragon Squares, for Joelle to compete in. Nine staff members acted as celebrity contestants, all while dressed up according to Joelle’s favorite things. Two additional staff members acted as the host and other contestant. Categories and questions all revolved around things Joelle liked, including the television show Supernatural, Greek mythology, X-Men comics, the color orange and more. We loved having Joelle and her family here, as well as our Make-A-Wish friends. It’s one of the highlights of our year! Two weeks ago, some of our Atlanta-area and Memphis-area Team Members joined forces with Habitat for Humanity DeKalb County, GA for our annual Habitat for Humanity Build Day. The team completed a back deck for a local veteran’s home. What’s even more special was it was a “done in a day” project, meaning they got to complete their project and see it fully to fruition. Thanks, Habitat DeKalb, for having us once again.

While last Wednesday might have been a little rainy, it was only sunshine and smiles at Binghampton Christian Academy, as we celebrated the sixth annual BCA Family Day. Team Members brought the fun with fellowship and crafting skills galore, and financial education for faculty, staff and family members. BCA students got to have their smiling faces painted and enjoyed a popsicle (or three!) from MemPops. At the end of our time together, every student walked away with a handmade gift they had crafted for a special someone in their lives for Mother’s Day. We love BCA Family Day, and are already planning for next year’s event! On Friday, we took our 8th grade class from Binghampton Christian Academy on their last-ever BCA field trip. From the newly-opened BVO - Baron Von Opperbean, that’s a one-of-a-kind adventure experience on Mud Island, to bowling at the Fish Bowl in Bass Pro Pyramid, we all had a blast. We’re so proud of these students, and can’t wait to see what lies ahead for them in the many months and years to come. BCA students, know your Paragon Team is behind you every step of the way!

Established in 1946 by Bernard Lansky, the business earned the title "Clothier to the King" when Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll, became a loyal customer throughout his remarkable career.

Now, meet Hal Lansky, the second-generation owner of Lansky Bros., who, alongside his daughter Julie, continues to carry on the successful legacy of the clothier. Hal speaks about the strong relationship he shares with their Paragon banker after becoming one of Paragon’s first customers over 20 years ago.
