This $156,610,865 expansion means 240 new jobs. Those are both impressive numbers, but I want to focus on the smaller one today. Because that number has an outsized impact on our community. 240 new jobs means 240 people working. That signals progress. It means 240 families made stronger. It means 240 people building skills. It means 240 people who will love and invest in our community a little more, and 240 people who can say, Memphis is a better place because of me. Because that is what happens when people are employed, Memphis rises. Congratulations to Hyosung HICO on this incredible expansion and continued investment in our city.
