We’re proud to share that Sunstar Insurance Group’s First Arkansas Insurance has earned a total of $10,000 for Central Arkansas nonprofit Rescue Road through Liberty Mutual Insurance’s 2026 Make More Happen Award!

Thanks to the incredible support from their community and across the Sunstar network, they received over 750 votes, helping to double the original donation and create an even greater impact for animals in need. These funds will help provide essential care and support Rescue Road’s mission to give rescued animals a second chance at life.

We are thrilled to announce that Adam Meyerowitz has been named Chief Executive Officer of Sunstar Insurance Group!

Adam brings more than 20 years of insurance industry leadership experience to Sunstar, including co-founding Prime Risk Partners and growing it into a top U.S. broker before serving as COO of the national insurance brokerage that acquired it. His proven ability to scale platforms, cultivate strong agency partnerships, and deepen industry relationships makes him the right leader for our next chapter.

Alongside this news, we extend our gratitude to our founder Casey Bowlin, who built Sunstar into one of the nation's top 30 independent insurance brokers over his 13-year tenure leading the company. Casey will transition to the role of Chairman, where he will remain active in guiding the senior leadership team and supporting the firm's acquisition and strategic growth initiatives.

Congratulations to Sunstar Insurance Group’s First Arkansas Insurance agency for winning Liberty Mutual Insurance 's Make More Happen Award in support of Central Arkansas non-profit Rescue Road.

The staff at First Arkansas Insurance shares a love for helping their community and that community includes animals. Led by marketing director Emily Kelley’s volunteer efforts, the agency teamed up with Rescue Road to give animals in need a second chance.

Supporting Rescue Road takes a village, and First Arkansas Insurance is coming together to “Make More Happen” for our furry friends there.

This St. Patrick’s Day, we want to draw attention to an important issue: each year, this holiday brings a noticeable increase in impaired driving, resulting in tragic and preventable losses. Dozens of lives are cut short on St. Patrick’s Day night alone due to drunk-driving crashes.

With that in mind, we encourage everyone to celebrate responsibly. If you’re planning to enjoy the festivities, please make a commitment not to drive under the influence—or ride with anyone who is impaired. Simple choices, such as designating a sober driver or arranging a ride, can make all the difference.
