Today, Anthony DeLorenzo, Senior Producer at United Public Adjusters & Appraisers, Inc. had the honor of testifying at the Affordability Forum hosted by Senator James Sanders Jr. at the Rockaway YMCA in Rockaway, New York.

Drawing on more than a decade of experience, Anthony shared valuable insights gained from helping homeowners, business owners, affordable housing providers, condominium associations, and property managers recover from fire, flood, storm, and other catastrophic property losses.

During his testimony, Anthony emphasized the critical consumer protection role public adjusters serve and encouraged policymakers to preserve consumers' access to information, professional guidance, and qualified representation when navigating complex insurance claims.

"New Yorkers who experience catastrophic losses deserve transparency, choice, and access to qualified professionals who can help them navigate the recovery process."

After a beautiful weekend, we're expecting a much different start to the week.

Heavy rain, strong thunderstorms, and the potential for flooding are in the forecast beginning Monday afternoon and continuing into Tuesday. Conditions can change quickly, especially during the evening commute and overnight hours, so it's a good time to make sure you're prepared.

We were honored to serve as the Financial Literacy Program Sponsor of the 2026 Steve J. DiMare Memorial Golf Classic, hosted by New Ground.

This incredible event brought together community leaders, sponsors, volunteers, and golfers in support of New Ground's mission to provide housing, support services, and hope to Veterans and other Long Islanders experiencing homelessness.
