Happy National Intern Day! Today, we're celebrating our incredible summer interns, Emma Defot and Kevin Kearns.

While we're celebrating them today, we're also saying goodbye as they wrap up their summer with Point Wealth Management. Throughout their time with us, Emma and Kevin jumped into a variety of projects, brought fresh perspectives, and embraced every opportunity to learn and grow.

Emma, a student at Bocconi University in Milan studying International Economics and Finance, brought a thoughtful global perspective to our team. Kevin, a student-athlete at the University of Michigan and member of the Men's Lacrosse team, demonstrated the discipline, teamwork, and curiosity that made him a valuable part of our office.

While we're sad to see them go, we're incredibly excited to see what the future holds for both of them. Thank you, Emma and Kevin, for your hard work, enthusiasm, and contributions this summer. We can't wait to see all that you accomplish next!

Recently, our team gathered at West Point for our annual planning meeting—a time to reflect on the accomplishments of the past year and set our vision for the year ahead.

West Point holds a special place in the story of our practice. The principles that have shaped generations of leaders—duty, character, discipline, teamwork, humility, and service—are at the core of who we are as a practice. They guide how we serve our clients, support one another, and define success.

As our team continues to grow, we're increasingly mindful that culture doesn't happen by accident. It must be protected, reinforced, and passed from one generation to the next. Our time at West Point was a powerful reminder of the responsibility we have to preserve what makes our team special.

Throughout the trip, we strengthened relationships, explored the rich history and traditions of the Academy, and shared experiences that will stay with us for years to come.

One of the highlights was an impactful discussion with Army Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Joe Alberici. His insights on leadership, trust, accountability, and team culture reinforced many of the values that have shaped our organization from the very beginning.

We left West Point with renewed gratitude, a stronger sense of purpose, and excitement for the future we're building together.

Thank you to Army West Point Hospitality and everyone who helped make this experience possible.
