As markets continue to navigate a higher interest rate environment, it's important to look beyond the headlines.

Rising rates can create challenges for consumers, housing, and borrowing costs. However, the broader economy continues to show resilience through business investment, job growth, and innovation, particularly in AI-related industries.

For investors, periods like these are a reminder that market leadership can shift quickly. Staying diversified and focused on long-term financial goals remains one of the most effective ways to manage uncertainty and capture opportunities across changing market environments.

The key isn't predicting the next rate move. It's building a portfolio designed to weather multiple economic scenarios.

Most parents budget for childcare like it's a grocery run: fixed cost, check the box. If you're trying to figure out how to actually plan for this stage of life, that's exactly the conversation I have with families every day. Let's connect.

Market Update | Inflation Remains in Focus

Markets continue to navigate a complex environment shaped by inflation, interest rate expectations, geopolitical developments, and ongoing economic resilience.

One area receiving increased attention is the impact of tariffs on inflation. While tariffs have often been viewed as a one-time cost increase, there are growing questions about whether their effects may be more persistent as businesses continue to adjust pricing over time. Combined with rising energy costs and a strong labor market, these factors could influence the path of inflation and future Federal Reserve decisions.

For investors, it's a reminder that uncertainty remains part of the landscape and reinforces the importance of maintaining a disciplined, long-term approach.

One of the most common things I see with clients? They’re waiting for the right moment to start their financial plan. 💸 Waiting for the raise to come through, for interest rates to normalize, for the year to feel less chaotic. But here’s the truth: That moment rarely ever comes. Starting to plan today—even when things feel messy—is always a better call. If you’re in that holding pattern, I’d love to help.

Debt stress doesn’t wait for your balance to hit a certain number. It shows up in your body, your relationships, your sleep—sometimes long before you’re willing to look at the actual numbers. If that sounds familiar, you don’t have to go it alone. Let’s talk and make a plan to bring you real peace of mind.

Everyone is focused on AI’s potential to drive future growth. But an important question is whether investors are paying enough attention to its costs.

As AI adoption expands, we’re beginning to see a shift beneath the surface of the market. Market share and leadership in the tech sector is broadening beyond the usual largest technology companies, while the infrastructure supporting AI, from semiconductors to data centers and memory, continues to grow in importance.

At the same time, those investments come with higher costs. Rising spending on AI infrastructure, combined with persistent services inflation, could prolong the current period of higher rates of inflation. That creates a more complex environment for both businesses and the Federal Reserve.

For investors, this is another reminder that diversification matters. Market leadership changes. Economic conditions evolve. A portfolio built solely around yesterday’s winners may not be positioned for tomorrow’s opportunities.

The goal isn’t to predict the next headline, it’s to build a portfolio that can adapt across a range of market environments.
