Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield graciously hosted our management team at last nights game! Starting with a presentation informing us on the upcoming changes to NY health insurance in 2026 to meeting alumni Mets players like the legendary Endy Chávez, the night was filled with industry insight and great baseball.

As we approach the end of the year (when most health insurance plans renew), things like this allow us to connect personally with the insurance carriers; rubbing elbows not only strengthens relationships with our carrier reps, but it helps us gather the latest updates to best service our clients.

IMPORTANT NEWS!:
You may have heard the drama between Memorial Sloan Kettering (world-renowned cancer treatment and research facility, located in NYC) and United Healthcare (major health insurance carrier covering over 4.6 million lives in NY alone).

Just a few moments ago, we received news that MSKCC and UHC have agreed to a new multi-year contract! You can read this official statement released to us in the picture below, but please keep this in mind if you hear anyone expressing concern over this! As brokers, it’s our job to keep our clients informed on the constant shifts in the industry and ease some nerves; the least we can do is offer the same to you all in a simple post!
